Special Conditions for Safe Use
XP conditions of use for ATEX/IECEx and Zones:
The flameproof joints of the equipment are not intended to be repaired. Consult the manufacturer if repair of the flameproof
joints is necessary.
Consult the manufacturer for genuine replacement enclosure cover fasteners.
Installation
When installing this apparatus, the following requirements must be met:
The temperature rating of the field wiring must be 70°C or greater.
XP version unused entries should be closed with suitably certified blanking elements.
The installation should comply with controlled drawing 752-364 (see Figure 1 on page 2) and drawing 752-513 Sheets 1-7
(see Figure 2 on page 2 through Figure 8 on page 5).
The installation should comply with configuration drawing 712-1889 Sheets 1-3 (see Figure 9 on page 6 through Figure 11
on page 7).
The installation should comply with installation drawings 712-2126 stainless steel weather-proof (see Figure 12 on
page 7), 712-2127 explosion-proof (see Figure 13 on page 8), and 712-2130 fiberglass weather-proof (see Figure 14 on
page 8).
The product cannot be repaired by the user. It must be replaced by an equivalent certified product. Repairs should only be
carried out by the manufacturer or by an approved repairer.
Only trained, competent personnel may install, operate and maintain the equipment.
