Waveshare technological suggestions WIFI232 module be placed in the following areas of user board,
in order to reduce the antenna and a wireless signal influence, at the same time, please consult with
technology and technical support staff to assist module placement and associated regions of Layout
design.

3.3.2 External Antenna

WIFI232 modules support internal antenna and external antenna option for user dedicated
application. If user select external antenna, WIFI232 modules must be connected to the 2.4G
antenna according to IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards.

3.4 Evaluation Kit

provides the evaluation kit to promote user to familiar the product and develop the
Waveshare
detailed application. The evaluation kit shown as below, user can connect to WIFI232 module
with the RS-232 UART port, 100M Eth port or Wireless port to configure the parameters, manage
the module or do the some functional tests.
