2.6.1. Analog Encoder Inputs (J201 and J202)

The Nmark CLS is equipped with two analog encoder input channels per Galvo connector that can be
configured for position feedback via parameter settings. If using analog encoder for position feedback, the
multiplication (interpolation) factor is determined by the EncoderMultiplicationFactor parameter.
Each channel's gain, offset, and phase balance of the analog Sine and Cosine encoder input signals can be
adjusted by controller parameters. Encoder signals for each channel should be adjusted using the Feedback
Tuning tab of the Digital Scope utility, which will automatically adjust the encoder parameters for optimum
performance (refer to the A3200 Help file for more information).
