ANCP Corrected Rate
Ethernet/DSL
"Access-Node-Identifier ethernet slot/port[:vlan-id]"
The BRAS uses the fixed correction factor you specify for ATM or Ethernet overhead to calculate the
correct line rate. It then sends the modified rate to the RADIUS server in an Access-Request and
Accounting-Start message. RADIUS uses the information in the message and in the appropriate
RADIUS profile to determine the actual session rate. RADIUS signals the corrected rate in an
Access-Accept message.
The BRAS uses the corrected rate from RADIUS to determine the shaping and policing rate for the
session. The BRAS updates the local QoS policy-map and applies the corrected line rate to the
subinterface that terminates the link.
