8.2 Device-specific safety notes
Checking the safety function
To check the safety function, proceed as follows:
● Set the setpoint to 50% either by using the local operation from the "Manual" mode or
● Apply a LOW signal, i.e. a voltage less than 4.5 V, at the input for the safety shutdown
● Check whether the valve moves to the specified safety position

Behavior in case of faults
Fault
The procedure in case of faults is described in the "Fault correction" chapter. See the

Repairs
Defective devices should be sent in to the repair department with details of the fault and the
cause. When ordering replacement devices, please specify the serial number of the original
device. The serial number can be found on the type plate.
The address of the responsible repair center, contacts, spare parts lists, etc. can be found on
the internet.
