When you have selected the program the Select target
area display will be shown.
On the Select target area display, specify the image area
by selecting the upper or lower jaw, right or left side, jaw
size, distance between exposures, standard or full size
exposure, and the tooth number (or TMJ). The selected
target position will be marked on the icon.
Select the lower or upper jaw by touching the Jaw field.
Select the right or left side of the jaw by touching the Side
field.
NOTE The side selection can also be made by simply
touching the jaw icon on that side.
Select the jaw size by touching the Jaw size field. The
Select jaw shape & size display will appear. Select the
correct jaw size (narrow, average or wide) by tapping on
the corresponding icon. Touch OK to confirm the
selection.
In transtomography programs the layer thickness can be
set to 1, 3, 6, 9, 18 or 36 mm. The list is cyclical.
In tomography programs the layer thickness is always 6
mm and the Layer field is not shown on the control panel.
Select the distance between exposures in automatic
programs by touching the Distance field. The distance can
be 1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 mm, and the list is cyclical.
In manual programs the Distance field is not shown on the
control panel.
Select a standard (either lower or upper collimation) or full
size (full collimation) exposure by touching the Size field.
If you select Lower or Upper only the selected jaw will be
exposed, and selecting Full will produce a full size
exposure of both jaws.
