The teleprotection supplement of distance protection is only in service if it is set during
the configuration to one of the possible modes of operation in address . Depend-
ing on this configuration, only those parameters which are applicable to the selected
mode appear here. If the teleprotection supplement is not required the address is
set to 7HOHSURW 'LVW = 'LVDEOHG.
The following modes are possible with conventional transmission links (as described
in Subsection 2.6):
