Input and Output information panel — The Input
and Output information panel, on the right side of the
screen, is visible in all tabs and provides information
about:
The current input
Selected input channel
Source format
Sampling frequency
Encoded channels
The current output
Speaker configuration
Listening mode
Mode override selection
Master volume
Mute
NOTE:
While the
Master Volume
status can be adjusted using the slider bar and
button in this panel, the
status information in this information bar is read
only.
Input status — The
Input
indicates which input channel
is being used. Underneath
are three lines of information
about the source format, the
sampling frequency, and encoded
channels.
The box underneath highlights
the active channels for the audio
source in blue.
= left front
L
= center
C
= right front
R
LS
= left surround
= right surround
RS
= surround (only available
S
with 3/1 or 2/1 sources):
LS and RS carry a mono
surround signal.
= surround back
SB
= low frequency effect (primarily used for subwoofer channel output)
