Installing the power supply unit bay

Prerequisites
CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform troubleshooting and simple
repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and support team.
Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions
that came with the product.
1 Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
2 Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
Steps
1 Orient the power supply unit (PSU) bay to the side of the chassis.
2 Align the following:
a Four slots on the PSU bay with the hooks on the side of the chassis.
a Connector on the power distribution board (PDB) with the connector on the system board.
3 Press the PSU bay until it clicks into place.

Next steps
1 Install the following:
a Storage controller card for the left power supply bay
b Expansion card risers, if removed
