Spot measurement
To carry out a spot measurements just position the device with the measurement
head on a single measurement patch and press the green measurement button
shortly. During the measurement process all LEDs flash up simultaneously. A double
sound confirms, that the measurement is completed and the measurement data are
displayed by the ExPresso software in the window "Spot measurement" in the sub-
menu "Sample".
All relevant density- and colorimetric-values are shown here very clearly and can
therefore be interpreted at a glance. The maximum density according to the wave
length is displayed as well.
In the menu "Spot measurement  Reference" (see p. 55) a reference can be select-
ed for the measured color.This can be a second measurement or an already defined
ink (see p. 27).
The window "Spot measurement  Deviation D" (see p. 55) displays the deviation of
the measurement values of the sample to the selected reference.The densitometric
and colorimetric numerical values are supplemented by a graph.
