Recording on an MD
manually

— Manual Recording

You can record just the portions you like from a
disc, the tuner or other connected component.
Open the lid before performing the following
operations.

Load a recordable MD.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly to select
the desired source to record.
• DVD: To make an analog recording from
this system's DVD player.
• TAPE: To make analog recordings from
an optional component.
• OPTICAL IN: To make digital
recordings from an optional components.
• TUNER: To make analog recordings
from this system's radio.

Press REC MODE on the unit
repeatedly to select the recording
mode.
Select the desired recording time.

(change the stereo
signal to monaural)

Press REC/REC IT on the unit.
The MD deck stands by for recording.

Move MD stick to NX, then start
playing the desired source to record.
To stop recording
Move MD stick to x.
