To improve tuner reception
When tuner reception is poor, set DVD player
power off by DVD power manage function.
DVD power is factory set to on.

Press SA-CD/DVD.

Press ?/1 to turn off the system.

Press ?/1 on the unit while pushing the
DVD stick towards x. "DVD POWER OFF"
appears.
To set DVD power on
Repeat the procedure above and "DVD POWER
ON" appears.
Notes
• When "DVD POWER OFF" is selected, DVD access
time is increased.
• You cannot change the setting in Power Saving
Mode.
Tips
• The preset stations are retained for about a day even
if you disconnect the mains lead or if a power failure
occurs.
• You can label the preset stations "Labelling the
preset stations" (page 65).
• To improve the reception, adjust the supplied
antennas or connect an external antenna.
• To confirm the content of displayed messages, open
the lid on the unit when "OPEN" is displayed.
• To operate the unit with the lid closed, perform step
2 in "Manual tuning preset" to display "Manual".
To change the AM tuning interval
The AM tuning interval is factory-preset to
9 kHz (or 10 kHz for some areas). To change the
AM tuning interval, tune in any AM station first,
then turn off the system. While holding
FUNCTION, press ?/1. When you change the
interval, all the AM preset stations are erased.
To reset the interval, repeat the same procedure.
Use buttons on the unit for the operation.
Tips

you disconnect the mains load or if a power failure
occurs.
• To improve the reception, adjust the supplied
antennas or connect an external antenna.
