Timer recording radio
programs
You can record a preset radio station from a
specified time.
To timer record, you must first preset the radio
station (see "Presetting radio stations" on
page 62) and set the clock (see "Setting the
clock" on page 10).
Open the lid before performing the following
operations.

Tune in the preset radio station (see
"Listening to a preset station" on
page 64).

Press CLOCK/TIMER SET.

Press V or v repeatedly to select "REC
SET?", then press ENTER/YES.

Press V or v repeatedly until the timer
number (e.g., "REC 1") you want to set
appears, then press ENTER/YES.

Press V or v repeatedly until the
desired type of timer appears.
• ONCE?: The timer activates only once.
• DAILY?: The timer activates at the same
time every day.
• WEEKLY?: The timer activates at the
same time on the set day of every week.

Press ENTER/YES.
When you select "ONCE?" or
"WEEKLY?" in step 5, the day of the week
indication flashes.
Proceed to step 9 when you select
"DAILY?" in step 5.

Press V or v repeatedly to set the day
of the week that the timer activates.

Press ENTER/YES.
The hour indication flashes.

Set the time to start recording.
Press V or v repeatedly to set the hour, then
press ENTER/YES.
The minute indication flashes.
Press V or v repeatedly to set the minute,
then press ENTER/YES.

Set the time to stop recording following
the same procedure as step 7 to 9.

Press V or v repeatedly to select the
recording mode (e.g., "LP2"), then
press ENTER/YES.
The timer recording settings appear, then
the original display returns.

Load a recordable MD.

Press ?/1 to turn off the system.
