Remote Modbus Device

850 FEEDER PROTECTION SYSTEM – INSTRUCTION MANUAL
The maximum number of 64 FlexAnalog operands supported is 64 and the maximum
number of FlexLogic operands supported is 64.
For the BSG3 device, 27 analogs and 27 digital operands are supported and are pre-
configured in the default CID settings file.
All parameters are polled consecutively. Up to 64 FlexLogic values can be defined and
polled for each Modbus device. Each FlexLogic value can be read from a different Modbus
address and bit mask which is then mapped into any of the available 64 bit locations.
Up to 10 format codes (GMD_FC1 to GMD_FC10) can be defined separately for each
Modbus Device Profile.
The 'Device n Offline' operand is set to 'High' when the last communication attempt has
failed. The operand is set to 'Low' when there is a successful communication attempt. The
Time of Last Successful Poll is updated if the update for all pooled data was success. This is
a timestamp value for the last successful read.

Default: Off
Up to 64 FlexLogic operands can be shown here.
The displayed text (see 'Item Name' field in EnerVista 8 Series Setup software) is the
FlexLogic name defined in the Generic Modbus Device Setpoint label field in the CID file.
The value displayed is based on the Format Code field defined in the Generic Modbus
Device Setpoint for a specific digital value in the CID file.
