10.2.5 Configuring the command mode
The actuator can be placed in the manual mode while it is in closed-loop operation using the
command pen:
1. Plug the memory pen (3) together with
modular adapter (2) into the serial interface
(COM port) of the computer (1) (Fig. 17 on
page 66).
2. Select Set Command Mode in the Memory
Pen menu.
3. Set required action (e.g. Retract actuator
stem).
4. Click OK to confirm.
5. Remove the memory pen from the computer and plug it into the serial interface of the
actuator (Fig. 18 on page 67).
The actuator stem is extended or retracted depending on which action has been select-
ed.
6. After removing the memory pen from the actuator, the actuator returns to normal closed-
loop operation.
