10 Transfer data
The TROVIS-VIEW software can either be
used in offline mode (device not connected
to the computer) or in online mode (device
connected to the computer). To activate on-
line mode, click the

operating data are uploaded from the device
cyclically and displayed in TROVIS-VIEW.
The settings configured in TROVIS-VIEW can
be directly transferred to the device.
To enable communication with the computer,
a computer's serial interface (COM port) is
connected to the serial interface of the device
using a SAMSON connecting cable. In case
the computer does not have a COM port, a
USB/RS-232 adapter can be used.

Data can be transferred to the serial inter-
face using the SAMSON connecting cable or
a memory pen together with a modular
adapter. A memory pen allows you to simply
