Parameters
ipv6-address/prefix-length: Specifies the IPv6 address and IPv6 prefix. The ipv6-address and prefix-length
arguments jointly specify the prefix of an EUI-64 IPv6 address.
Description
Use the ipv6 address eui-64 command to configure an EUI-64 IPv6 address for an interface.
Use the undo ipv6 address eui-64 command to remove the configured EUI-64 IPv6 address for the
interface.
By default, no EUI-64 IPv6 address is configured for an interface.
An EUI-64 IPv6 address is generated based on the specified prefix and the automatically generated
interface identifier and can be displayed by using the display ipv6 interface command.
You cannot specify the prefix length of an EUI-64 IPv6 address to be greater than 64.
Examples
# Configure an EUI-64 IPv6 address for VLAN-interface 100. The prefix length of the address is the same
as that of 2001::1/64, and the interface ID is generated based on the MAC address of the device.

ipv6-address: Specifies the IPv6 link-local address. The first 10 bits of an address must be 1 1 1 1 1 1 1010
(binary). The first group of hexadecimals in the address must be FE80 to FEBF.
