10.6.1 Sweep – Sweep mode settings

If the mode sweep off is activated then no dynamic sweep is applied to the beam. This set
ting is equivalent with setting the value for »amplitude« (incl. »dynamic amplitude«*) to zero.
Only a static deflection of the beam with the corresponding position offset according to the
»position« parameter will occur.

Sweep off
Lissajous
The Lissajous mode is the standard and conventional mode to
deflect a beam dynamically. The dynamic sweep is generated by
superimposing the static beam with a dynamic deflection in both
x- and y-direction. Both channels can be supplied with frequencies
from 0..100 Hz. There's no fixed phase relation between the chan
nels.
