The protocol of the RS-232 interface is described in a separate document. It is not neces­
sary for the operation and initial start up.
10.4

IO-Control

The IO-Control logically assigns the digital inputs and outputs to the status of the

10.4.2 HV ON/OFF control
The HV ON/OFF control is responsible for the switch ON/OFF of the magnet current power
supply, the filament power supply (filament) and the high voltage as well as the control of
the emission of the emission current.
If the filament is switched ON always the magnet current will be switched ON. If the high
voltage is switched ON always the magnet current and the filament will be switched ON.
The high voltage and the filament can only be switched ON if the

are enabled. The emission will be enabled if the high voltage is switched ON and
