Main screen operation

In addition to controlling the emission current, the main screen can also be used to change
the deflection of the electron beam in position and amplitude with the joysticks. The sweep
display then gives an indication of the sweep area on the active pocket. The main screen is

Setting of the emission current

The amplitude of the magnet current defines the extend of deflection of the electron beam
around the position value.
