Chapter 4: Remote / IP Control

4.1. Overview

The AERO.10 is capable of being remotely configured, monitored, and controlled
across an IP network via several different methods.

NfRemote

NfRemote is an application for Windows machines, and is the easiest, and the most
convenient, way to control the AERO.10. The NfRemote installation files are on the
USB drive that was included with the product, and the current version is on the
AERO.10 itself, available for download via the internal HTTP server.
HTTP server
The AERO.10 also includes an internal HTTP server which enables full configuration,
control, and monitoring of the unit from a standard web browser (Internet Explorer,
Safari, Google Chrome, etc.) or IP commands.
Loudness logging and the logs themselves are accessed via the HTTP server.
Note!
Only computers that have their IP addresses listed in the HTTP
Access IP whitelist are able to access the AERO.10 via a web
browser or IP commands.
The whitelist may be configured from either the AERO.10's front
panel or via NfRemote. Wildcard characters are supported in the
whitelist.
4.2. NfRemote
The NfRemote IP remote interface software is a separate client application that can
be downloaded and installed on most recent desktop, laptop, or even tablet PCs
which are running Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, or 10. Touchscreen support is provided
for touch-sensitive devices.
