1.5.2. Front Panel USB Connection
This USB connection on the front panel allows users to upgrade operating software
and download loudness logs using a USB thumb drive. This would generally only be
used if the AERO.10 is not connected to an IP network.
1.5.3. Analog I/O
A 2-channel, +4 dBu, balanced analog input and output is included on a DB9
connector. Pinout information for wiring harnesses is listed in Appendix B.
1.5.4. Network Connection
An auto-sensing 100/1000 BASE-T Ethernet port is provided via a standard RJ45
connector. When connecting directly to a computer, a crossover cable is not
required.
Note!
When using the Ethernet port, be sure to connect it to a stable and
robust network.
1.5.5. SDI I/O
An autosensing HD-/SD-SDI input and output connection are included on the
AERO.10. All 16-channels of an SDI stream are available for de-embedding,
embedding, and pair shuffling.
1.5.6. AES I/O
8 channels of digital audio are supported via AES-3. There are 4 AES input
connections and 4 AES Output connections provided via 75Ω BNC connectors to
support this.
