Important Points to Remember
•
For 10–Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, CR4 auto-negotiation is not applicable.
•
For 100-Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, CR4 auto-negotiation is enabled by default.
•
For 40–Gigbit, 25–Gigabit and 50–Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, CR4 auto-negotiation is disabled by default.
FEC Configuration
FEC configurations are available on 100–Gigbit, 50–Gigabit and 25–Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.
To configure FEC, use the following commands.
•
Enable FEC.
INTERFACE mode
fec enable
To disable FEC, use the no fec enable command.
•
Set to default FEC value.

fec default
•
Verify the configuration.
