S Start the engine and accelerate to about
5,000 r/min.
Charging voltage:
14 V at 5,000 r/min
NOTE:
Use a fully charged battery.

4. Stator coil resistance
S Disconnect the AC magneto coupler from
the wire harness.
S Connect the pocket tester (Ω
tor coils.
Tester (+) lead ! White terminal
Tester (–) lead ! White terminal
Tester (+) lead ! White terminal
Tester (–) lead ! White terminal
S Measure the stator coil resistance.
Stator coil resistance:
0.50 X 0.62 Ω at 20_C

5. Wiring connections
S Check the connections of the entire charg-
ing system.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM".
Replace the rectifier/regulator.
