VALVE AND VALVE SPRING INSTALLATION

1. Apply:
S Molybdenum disulfide oil
2. Install:
S Valve spring seats
S Valve stem seals
S Valves
S Valve springs
S Valve spring retainers
NOTE:
Install the valve springs with the larger pitch a
facing upwards.
b Smaller pitch

Free length (valve spring):
43.2 mm
<Limit>: 42.0 mm
Out of specification ! Replace.
b Installed length
Compressed spring force:
21.8 X 25.6 kg at 37.1 mm
Out of specification ! Replace.
Spring tilt limit:
2.5_/1.9 mm
