CARBURETOR
5. Inspect:
S Vacuum chamber cover 1
S Springs 2
S Plastic bushing 3
S Plastic screw cap 4
Cracks/damage ! Replace.
6. Inspect:
S Jet needle 1
S Main jet 2
S Main jet holder 3
S Pilot jet 4
S Needle jet 5
S Pilot air jet 6
S Pilot screw 7
S Starter plunger
Bends/wear/damage ! Replace.
Blockage ! Blow out the jets with com-
pressed air.
7. Check:
S Free movement
Insert the throttle valve into the carburetor
body and check for free movement.
Sticks/tight ! Replace.
8. Inspect:
S Joints (fuel) 1
S Joints (air vent hose-vacuum chamber) 2
S Joints (carburetor breather hose) 3
Cracks/damage ! Replace.

CARBURETOR ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Before reassembling, wash all of the parts in
a clean petroleum based solvent.
