• This processing code is used to specify Kanji shift in codes and Kanji shift out
codes, which are used at inputting/outputting JIS Kanji codes when Kanji code
conversion is performed at an open communication channel.
See the description of Processing Code 96 for the details about Kanji code
conversion.
• Specify 100 for the processing code.
• Whether or not to change the Kanji shift in/out codes is specified by setting
%(1) to either of the following values.
0 • • • The initial setting values are used as the codes.
1 • • • Change the codes to the ones specified in %(2) to %(13).
Note that the following default values are set initially.

• Specify how many characters should be used to represent the Kanji shift in/out
codes in number of shift in code characters and number of shift out code
characters.
• If the number of characters specified in control table is greater than the actual
number of characters specified for the Kanji shift in/out codes, the characters in
excess of the specified number of characters are ignored.

Specify Kanji shift in code 1 in the lower byte
and Kanji shift in code 2 in the higher byte.
Specify Kanji shift in code 9 in the lower byte
and Kanji shift in code 10 in the higher byte.
Specify Kanji shift out code 1 in the lower byte
and Kanji shift out code 2 in the higher byte.
Specify Kanji shift out code 9 in the lower byte
and Kanji shift out code 10 in the higher byte.
