Procedure
Step 1 Configure available routes between the router and the NM stations. Details for the configuration
procedure are not provided here.
Step 2 Enable the SNMP agent.

Step 3 Configure the router to run SNMPv1.

Step 4 Configure the NM stations access rights.

Configure the trap function to allow the router to send alarms to NMS2.
Configure the contact information of the equipment administrator on the router.
