Clean the magnetic stripe reader (MSR) periodically, using the cleaning card
provided with your terminal. To obtain additional MSR cleaning cards,

Note: Do NOT use the MSR cleaning card in the chip card reader.

It is recommended that merchants obtain their POS stationery and paper rolls from
Moneris to ensure that these supplies comply with the applicable specifications.

Load the paper into the printer correctly.
IMPORTANT: You must use the exact power adaptor and cable provided with the
terminal by Moneris Solutions. Failure to do so may affect the operability of, or cause
damage to the terminal and Moneris Solutions shall have no liability whatsoever for a
failure to follow these instructions.
•
Avoid unnecessary movement of the terminal base to prevent accidental
disconnection of any of the cables.
