3.2.10 Merging Curves (Creating a Summed Curve)
Curves of the same intensity, stimulus type and ear can be merged to create a sum curve based on the total
average of the individual sweeps of the two selected curves.
1.
Select one curve by doubling clicking on the curve's handle.
2.
Right click on the second curve and select Create sum curve (merge).
The merged/summed curve can be split back into its two original curves by right clicking on the handle and
selecting Undo Sum Curve.
Original curves
New Fmp and Residual noise values are calculated for the merged/summed curve, however the Fmp and
Residual noise curves will not be available.
3.2.11 Adding Curves
Curves of the same intensity, stimulus type and ear can be added together to generate a third curve, based
on the total average of the individual sweeps of the two selected curves.
1. Select one curve by doubling clicking on the curve's handle.
2. Right click on the second curve and select Add this curve. The added curve will be indicated by an
'a' following the intensity on the handle (e.g., 60a)
Original curves
The added curve can be removed/deleted by selecting Delete when right clicking on the curve.
New Fmp and Residual noise values are calculated for the added curve, however the Fmp and Residual
noise curves will not be available.
3.2.12 Differential Ipsi minus Contra (Ipsi-Contra) Curve
Merged/summed curve
60a is the sum of the two other curves
