5.3 Mounting & Dismounting the Probe Tip
1. The neonatal probe tip is fragile and may break if not handle carefully when being attached or
detached from the probe.
2. It is important to use the probe tip tool to dismount the neonatal probe tip.
3. Never rock the neonatal probe tip back and forth to dismount it as it may break.

5.3.1 Mounting the Probe Tip

5.3.2 Dismounting the Neonatal Probe Tip

The probe tip tool is only used when dismounting the probe tips, especially the neonatal tip.
To mount the probe tip, unscrew and remove the probe cap and then
place the probe tip into the housing of the probe.
Screw the probe cap on and the probe tip until tight and fastened.
Place the probe tip tool between the purple probe tip and the rim of the
black probe cap.
Unscrew the probe cap and remove from the probe housing. Remove
the neonatal probe tip from the probe cap.
