2.4.6 AC Mains Input Connection

WARNING
IT MAINS OR DELTA-GROUNDED MAINS
Do not connect 400 V frequency converters with RFI-
filters to mains supplies with a voltage between phase
and earth of more than 440 V.
For IT mains and delta-grounded mains, mains voltage
may exceed 440 V between phase and earth.
Size wiring based upon the input current of the
frequency converter. See the maximum wire size
in the Input Current and Wire tables in
chapter 8 Specifications.
Comply with local and national electrical codes
for cable sizes.
Connect 3-phase AC input power wiring to
terminals L1, L2, and L3.
Depending on the configuration of the
equipment, connect the input power to the
mains input terminals or the input disconnect.
Ground the cable in accordance with grounding
instructions provided in General Earth (Ground)
Requirements.
All frequency converters can be used with an
isolated input source as well as with ground
reference power lines. When supplied from an
isolated mains source (IT mains or floating delta)
or TT/TN-S mains with a grounded leg (grounded
delta), set parameter 14-50 RFI Filter to OFF. When

RxD/TxD –N (green cable) for Profibus.
0 V for Profibus.
+5 V for Profibus.
