standby bandwidth size
The maximum bandwidth of the primary interface is set.
By default, the primary interface uses the actual physical bandwidth provided by the system as
the maximum bandwidth.

1.4.4 Setting the Higher and Lower Thresholds

You can set the higher and lower thresholds so that backup interfaces can transmit traffic.
Context
The system periodically detects whether the traffic volume on the primary interface is within
the threshold. If the traffic volume on the primary interface reaches the upper threshold, a backup
interface with the highest priority is selected to load balance services. If the traffic volume on
the primary interface is smaller than the lower threshold, the backup interface that has the lowest
priority and is in use is shut down.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
The primary interface view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
standby threshold enable-threshold disable-threshold
The higher and lower thresholds are set.

1.4.5 Checking the Configuration

You can view the status of the primary and backup interfaces to check the configuration.
Prerequisite
The configuration of interface backup in load balancing mode is complete.

NOTE
l By default, the system does not support the load balancing function. That is, the higher and lower
thresholds are not required.
l If backup interfaces have the same priority, the system starts or shuts down the backup interface that
is first configured. The backup interface that was configured first is started first and the backup interface
that was configured last is shut down first.
l A greater priority value of a backup interface indicates a higher priority of the backup interface.
