Verify Red Thermocouple wire and Yellow Switch wire are connected to the corresponding color coded terminals on the receiver.
If not, connect yellow to yellow, red to red and secure with mounting screw on top of terminal.
Diagram 7: Test for power to valve on a call for heat.
a.) Set meter to mV DC in lowest range possible.
b.) Place (+) Positive probe on Yellow terminal at receiver.
c.) Place (-) Negative probe to ground (valve body, ground lug or bare metal of chassis)
d.) Turn fireplace on, receiver will beep several times then begin to spark. Once the pilot begins to spark the meter
should read 5 – 6 mV DC until the pilot stops sparking.
e.) If NO power out from receiver on a call for heat, check for low power in to receiver.(See Diagram 1a).
f.) If sufficient power is available to the receiver but there is NO output on call for heat, replace the Receiver.
