Verify continuity/resistance through EV2 (main burner coil). Carefully disconnect the green wire from EV2
by pulling the connector straight off. Place one probe on the male tab of coil and the other probe to ground.
Reading should be 340 ohms (+/- 20 ohms). If open circuit or infinite resistance, replace valve.

DC VOLTS TEST (VDC)
Set meter to Volts DC in a range of 10V or greater and ensure all connections are made to valve and IFC. Place one probe
to the EV2 terminal (green) and one probe to the valve body (ground). Turn burner on and watch meter carefully, for ap-
proximately 2 seconds the voltage should read 4 – 6 VDC then drop to .5 – 1 VDC. If there is voltage but the valve does
not open, replace the valve—if there is no voltage, replace the IFC.
