Verify the ground connection to the IFC module at terminal X5 and the valve.
Do not alter any ground wires as installed by the manufacturer.

Remove the spark electrode wire from X2. Connect a jumper wire to the exposed spade terminal. Hold the opposite end of the
jumper 1/8" away from ground and turn the unit on. If there is a spark replace the electrode, if not replace the IFC.
