For source devices that require encryption, click the HDCP Authorized check box (see
figure
39,
example, a Blu-ray player), the output is muted or a warning message is displayed.
Some source devices encrypt their output even if the source material does not require
HDCP encryption to prevent content from being displayed on a non-HDCP compliant
display. Disable (uncheck) HDCP Authorized to allow the output of the scaler to remain
unencrypted.
EDID Minder
EDID Minder manages the EDID information between the switcher and one or more input
sources. Click EDID Minder (see figure 40,
the EDID Minder page.
