Press the "Copy in SP" button to enter the operating
display.

Make 13 A4/LT sideways or 6 A3/DLT skyshot
copies (full solid image copy) in 1C/Magenta mode
by opening the platen cover.
NOTE: Never make more than above number of
copies.

Close the platen cover.

Make 5 A4/LT sideways or 3 A3/DLT blank copies
in 1C/Magenta mode without any originals on the
exposure glass.
NOTE: Never make more than above number of
copies.

Reinstall the toner tank unit into the machine.

Make 10 copies of a C-4 test chart on A3/DLT
paper.

Wait 5 minutes, then perform Forced Process
Control Self Check.

Perform ACC.
Never perform this procedure for any color other than Magenta. This can also cause side effects to occur.
Performing forced toner
consumption with several
solid image copies helps
achieve the desired toner
density.
Making blank copies agitates
the toner in the development
unit.
This stabilizes the toner
concentration.
ACC calibrates the image by
adjusting image-processing
parameters.
Decrease the current value by –9.
