INSTALLING THE UTILITY SOFTWARE

The utility software is used to set call signs and
operating frequencies.
Separate utility software for each ID-RP2 unit, ID-
RP2C, ID-RP2D, ID-RP2V and ID-RP2L, is available.
This section describes installing the utility software
for the ID-RP2C as an example.
And also this section is based on using Microsoft
®
Windows 7. The displayed screens, indications or
operations may slightly differ from the instructions,
depending on your system configuration or
Windows operating system.
NOTE:
The ID-RP2C boxed with this instruction
manual requires the utility software revision 2.2 or
later. The utility software revision 2.0 or earlier is
not compatible.

Installing

Start Windows.

• Quit all other applications if any are running.
• When uninstalling the driver, log in as the administrator.
Insert the CD that is supplied with the ID-RP2C (Ap-

plication CD) into the CD drive.
Click "Computer" and then display the contents of

the CD.
Double click "IDRP2C" folder.

• Contents of the folder are displayed.

Double click "Setup.exe" file.
