Specifies the replacement character to print in place of any unprintable
character that is received from the host. Choose a hex character from hex 40
through hex FE. The character becomes the printer default when:
•
The printer is powered off and then powered on.
•
An SGEA command specifies to use the operator panel default.
•
The Graphic Chek Err parameter is disabled.

Specifies the direction in which characters are printed on the page. This
allows the printer to print languages which are printed right to left instead of
left to right.
Left to Right Prints characters left to right.
When you select a right to left language, the host will
Right to Left be notified of print direction changes when the printer
is put ONLINE.

Determines whether the printer accepts certain commands sent by the host,
or continues to use the current menu settings as follows:

Application > LP+ Setup > Form Width (chars)
•
Application > LP+ Setup > Form Length (lines)
•
Application > LP+ Setup > Select LPI
•
Application > LP+ Setup > Select CPI
•
Application > LP+ Setup > Typeface
•
Application > LP+ Setup > Text Position
Allows LP+ host commands to override menu settings
as shown above. Note the information appearing on
Disable the message display may not match the data stream
setting. No values will change upon initial selection of
the Disable option.
