Dismounting of HD2-* modules from the Motherboard

To dismount a module from the motherboard, proceed as follows:
Push the red Quick Lok bars upwards and gently lift off the entire
module.
The module is removed.

Shield/Grounding

The screen/shield of the Profibus cable on the HD2-GTR-4PA is con-
nected directly to the screen/ground connection clamp of the mother-
board.
Earth Connection
•
Take care about good earthing practice and ensure a clean earth at all
times.
Attention
If the Profibus DP cable leads into a hazardous area the screen/ground
connection clamp has to be connected to safety earth.
There might be a requirement to earth all exposed metal parts as a mat-
ter of course.
Subject to reasonable modifications due to technical advances.
