The T60 supports the IEC 60870-5-104 protocol. This protocol is enabled when the
MUNICATIONS
PROTOCOL
connected to a maximum of two masters (usually either an RTU or a SCADA master station). Since the T60 maintains two
sets of IEC 60870-5-104 data change buffers, no more than two masters should actively communicate with the T60 at one
time.
The
IEC ------- DEFAULT THRESHOLD
M_ME_NC_1 analog data. These settings group the T60 analog data into types: current, voltage, power, energy, and other.
Each setting represents the default threshold value for all M_ME_NC_1 analog points of that type. For example, to trigger
spontaneous responses from the T60 when any current values change by 15 A, the
ting should be set to 15. Note that these settings are the default values of the deadbands. P_ME_NC_1 (parameter of mea-
sured value, short floating point value) points can be used to change threshold values, from the default, for each individual
M_ME_NC_1 analog point. Whenever power is removed and re-applied to the T60, the default thresholds are in effect.
The
IEC REDUNDANCY
two simultaneous connections can be active at any given time.
When the IEC port number is set to 0, the change takes effect when the T60 is restarted.
Do not set more than one protocol to the same TCP/UDP port number, as this results in unreliable operation of
NOTE
those protocols.
