It is called free motion quilting when moving the fabrics freely towards any directions without using the feed dog of sewing machine.
When the feed dog is lowered (drop feed condition), it is possible to sew various curves and/or any directions by moving the fabrics by
hands.

Se denomina acolchado libre cuando se mueve el tejido libremente hacia cualquier dirección sin utilizar los dientes de la máquina de
coser. Cuando se bajan los dientes (con el selector de arrastre arriba/abajo), es posible coser cuervas o diferentes direcciones moviendo
los tejidos con las manos.
Техника, при которой ткань свободно движется в любом направлении без участия механизма подачи ткани, называется техникой
свободного движения. Когда зубчатая рейка опущена (положение зубчатого двигателя ткани), возможно шить по различным
изогнутым линиям и/или в любом направлении, перемещая ткань вручную.

Turn OFF the power switch before replacing the presser foot.

Put top layer of fabric with patchwork and/or appliqué, quilting
cotton and bottom fabric together by using pin or basting
stitches.

Una la capa superior de tejido con patchwork y/o aplicaciones, la
bra de acolchar y el tejido inferior con alleres o hilván.
Сложите вместе и скрепите булавкой или наметкой верхний
слой ткани, промежуточный хлопчатобумажный и нижний
слой.
Assemble the quilt presser foot.
Raise the presser bar. Loosen the setscrew for presser foot holder and remove
the presser foot holder. (Refer to page 30)
Set the quilting foot and tighten the setscrew for presser foot.

Monte el prensatelas para acolchar.
Suba la barra del prensatelas. Aoje el tornillo de ajuste para el soporte del
prensatelas y extraiga el soporte del prensatelas (consulte la página 30).
Coloque el prensatelas para acolchar y apriete el tornillo de ajuste del prensatelas.
Соберите шагающую прижимную лапку.
Поднимите прижимную планку. Ослабьте установочный винт держателя
прижимной лапки и демонтируйте держатель прижимной лапки (см. стр. 30).
Установите прижимную лапку для квилтинга и затяните установочный винт
прижимной лапки.
