The following common symbols may be found on the UPS:
LOAD ON
output receptacles (Output On).
LOAD OFF
the output receptacles (Output Off).
SAFETY EARTHING TERMINAL
ground.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
shock is present and the associated warning should be
observed.
CAUTION: REFER TO OPERATOR'S MANUAL
operator's manual for additional information.
This symbol indicates that the UPS batteries should not be
discarded in the trash. The UPS contains sealed lead
batteries and must be disposed of properly. For battery
replacement or removal, see Chapter 8, "AS/400 Service" on
page 77 for assistance.
