18 Troubleshooting

18.1 Problems visualised by the machine
The problems described in this section are shown by an error message on the display of the machine.
SYMPTOM
The display shows
"OFF2": the
machine is out of
order
The display shows
"OFF5": the
machine is out of
order
The display shows
"NO WATER"
The display shows

machine is out of

PROBABLE CAUSE
No serial link between the
CPU board and the serial
payment system.
The payment system is not
powered or is faulty.
Jammed coin inside
selector
One or both
memories are faulty
No water
The safety on the water inlet
solenoid valve is activated
Pump motor defective.
Loss of programming
standard data
Problems to the pipe tube
selector motor
Too many drinks have been
supplied without resetting the
level of the refilling pump of
the boiler
The key on the display board
inside the machine could be
trapped.
The selection keypad has at
least one trapped button.
REMEDY
Correctly programme the payment system
(see section
systems")
Correctly connect the payment system to
the CPU board
Make sure that the payment system is
working
the Remove the coin
EAROM Replace them
Wait until the mains water pressure is reset
Open the water supply.
Reset the safety on the solenoid valve.
Check it and eventually replace it.
Enter into the programming mode, reset the
pre-settings of all functions until they show
plausible values (the standard data can be
typed in)
programming mode. Eventually replace the
EAROMs
Check the motor and its cable.
Check and replace if it is necessary the
water level probes.
Check and eventually replace the key.
Check and eventually replace the keypad
and or the relative cable, if necessary.
