VF7OOI750 INTERCEPTOR
F U E L S Y S T E M
FUEL PUMP
Remove the seat and left side cover
D i s c o n n e c t t h e f u e l P u m P c o u P l e r .
Turn the fuel valve off .
Remove the breather separator.
C l i p t h e f u e l i n l e t l i n e , t h e n d i s c o n n e c t t h e f u e l i n l e t
a n d o u t l e t l i n e s f r o m t h e f u e l p u m p .
Remove the fuel pump mounting bolts and fuel
p u m p .
Install the fuel pump in the reverse order of removal.

When the vehicle is to be operated continuously
above 2,000 m (6,500 feet) the carburetor must be
readjusted as follows to improve driveability and
decrease exhaust emissions.

warm up the engine to operating temperature. stop
a n d g o d r i v i n g f o r 1 0 m i n u t e s i s s u f f i c i e n t .
Remove each pilot screw plug (page 4-8).
Turn each pilot screw clockwise 1 turn.
Adjust the idle speed with the throttle stop screw.

V F 7 5 0 F : 1 , 0 0 0 t 1 0 0 r p m
VF700F: 1,200 ! 100 rpm
Drive new pilot screw plugs into the pilot screw
