R E M O V A L
Place the motorcycle on its center stand.
Loosen the drive chain adjusting bolts lock nuts
and the adjusting bolts.
R e m o v e t h e a x l e n u t a n d a x l e .
Push the wheel forward and remove the drive
chain from the driven sprocket and remove the rear
w h e e l .
N O T E
lf you depress the brake pedal after the
rear wheel is removed, the caliper piston will
move out and make reassembly difficult.

Remove the rear brake disc.
R e m o v e t h e d u s t s e a l .
R e m o v e t h e f i n a l d r i v e n
together.
N O T E
sprocket and driven flange
Do not separate the driven sprocket and
f lange, unless replacement of the driven
sprocket or flange is necessary.
Remove the dust seal from the final driven flange.
