Start the engine and check the oil pressure at 5,000
rpm.

A p p l y 3 - B O N D @ s e a l a n t o r e q u i v a l e n t t o t h e
pressure switch threads and install.
TOROUE: 15-20 N.m (1.5-2.0 kg-m, 11-14 ft-tbl
C o n n e c t t h e o i l p r e s s u r e s w i t c h w i r e .
Start the engine.
Check that the oil pressure warning indicator goes
out after one or two seconds.

t h e e n g i n e i m m e d i a t e l y a n d d e t e r m i n e t h e c a u s e .

m o u n t e d i n t h e f r a m e .
Remove the lower radiator
Drain the engine oil. Remove the exhaust system.
Remove the right crankcase cover.
R e m o v e t h e o i l p u m p d r i v e n s p r o c k e t b y r e m o v i n g
t h e b o l t a n d w a s h e r .
R e m o v e t h e o i l s t r a i n e r ( p a g e 2 - 4 ) a n d t h e o i l
p a s s p i p e .
M a k e s u r e t h e O - r i n g s a r e i n g o o d c o n d i t i o n .
