Remove the left side cover and disconnect the
neutral switch connector.
Check the switch for continuity between the switch
connector terminal and ground.
T h e r e s h o u l d b e c o n t i n u i t y w i t h t h e t r a n s m i s s i o n i n
neutral and no continuity with the transmission in
any gear,
R E M O V A L
Remove the neutral switch cover.
Remove the neutral switch attaching screws and
the switch.
I N S T A L L A T I O N
lnstall the neutral switch in the reverse order of
removal. Tighten the switch mounting screws'
T O R O U E : 7 - 1 1 N . m
(0.7-1.1 ks-m, 5-8 ft-lb)
lnstall the neutral switch cover.
CTUTCH SITITC1|
Check continuity of the clutch lever (safety) switch
with the clutch released and applied. Replace if
necessary.
