R E M O V A L
Bend the lock washer tab down and remove the
center fork mounting bolt.
Remove the shift fork shaft and shift forks.
Remove the bearing stopper plates.
Remove the shift drum.
G E A R S H I F T D R U M A N D S H I F T
F O R K I N S P E C T I O N
lnspect the shift drum end for scoring, scratches,
or evidence of insufficient lubrication.
Check the shift drum grooves for damage.
